Welcome to Coffee and Beignets! We're a couple and a couple of comedians from New Orleans. We have a bunch of kids so, in an attempt to salvage some of our sanity we created a safe space to talk about them and everything else going on in the world.

David Griffin is a stand-up comedian, writer, professional father, and red wine enthusiast. His career started after the tragic realization that being handsome with a generous forehead would only take him so far. So, with nothing but a handsome face, substantial forehead, paper, and a pen he set his sights on being a comedian. Since then he’s been fortunate enough to travel around the country performing stand-up with some of the best comedians around, for all types of audiences in a variety of venues. David’s brand of comedy is based on his life and experiences being born and raised in New Orleans, growing up as the son of a pastor, and living with his wife and kids. He gives his unique perspective on subjects ranging from faith, family, music, movies, and wizardry. David was recently featured in a fascinating article by his daughter titled “Why my Dad is my second favorite comedian.”
